1. About Esker
Esker is an independent, self-hosted personal assistant intended primarily for the project owner's private, noncommercial use. It provides reminders, task management, optional Google Calendar integration and other explicitly configured modules. This website provides information about Esker; it does not offer open user registration.
2. Access and authorization
Access to the Telegram bot is restricted to an authorized user. Google Calendar access requires the account holder's explicit OAuth authorization. Users must not grant access to calendars or data they do not have permission to manage.
3. Connected services
Esker relies on third-party services, including Telegram, Google Calendar and configured language-model providers. Their availability and separate terms affect some functionality. The user may revoke Google authorization in the Google Account settings.
4. AI-generated actions
AI output may be inaccurate, including interpreting dates, times, event titles and reminders incorrectly. Users should review important changes in Google Calendar and verify critical notification settings. Esker is not intended for emergency alerts, medical decisions or other safety-critical use.
5. Availability and responsibility
The application is provided on an "as available" basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, perfect accuracy or timely delivery of reminders. Network failures, server downtime and third-party API changes may affect service. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator does not accept liability for loss caused by reliance on delayed or incorrect automated notifications.
6. Data and privacy
Data practices and connected services are described in the Privacy Policy. Granting calendar access authorizes only the calendar operations within the Google permissions requested by the application and user-directed functionality.
